All of us at Sustainable Saratoga are shocked and deeply saddened by the news of Amy Stock’s passing. Amy was a powerhouse for good. Her commitment to positive change in our community gave rise to Sustainable Saratoga. She worked for years to make it a viable organization that would have a real impact. In addition to the many other efforts she became involved in, she was also an articulate and energetic spokesperson for her neighborhood and for a number of environmental organizations. She combined a bright, focused intellect with a spirit of accomplishment on behalf of the environment and sustainable practices in the community and the capital region. Her influence will be felt for a long time. She will be sorely missed by the Sustainable Saratoga community.
